Friends of St Mary’s Events Autumn Term


You are all part of the Friends of St Mary’s. If everyone could help just a little you’d be amazed what we could achieve!


Thursday 5th  October – World Teacher Day: Guess the Baby

Entry forms will be on sale in the playground Thursday 28th and Friday 29th September. The cost to enter is £1. Completed forms need to be handed in to your teacher on Thursday 5th morning at registration. They will be marked; the answers will be displayed on the A board and all children who have correctly identified the Teaching staff will win a prize that afternoon.


Wednesday 11th  October – FoStM Meeting

Please come along! 7:30pm at Beechwood Hall.


Tuesday the 31st  October – Copper Trail

Would all children wishing to participate please bring some spare copper coins into school this day. During school hours classes will be asked to line their coins on the playground and the class with the longest line will receive a special treat!


Thursday 9th November – A visit from the Royal British Legion Riders Branch

We have arranged this for Remembrance Day. Children and parents/carers will have an opportunity after school to meet some members of the charity and see their motorbikes. They will have poppies and wristbands on sale; all proceeds go to the British Legion.


Tuesday 21st  November - FoStM Meeting

Please come along! 9:15am in the Dining Hall. There will be refreshments.


Saturday 9th  December – CHRISTMAS FAIR!

The school will be open 1-4pm to `get all festive’ as the term draws to a close!

We will have fun games, stalls, beautiful carols sung by St Mary’s choir and a visit from the big guy himself (Father Christmas)!!!!


Monday 18th  December – FoStM Meeting

Please come along! 1:45pm in the Music Room. There will be refreshments.
