Headteacher’s Welcome
It is a real privilege to welcome you to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School.
St Mary’s is a warm, happy and ambitious school where we are proud to be more than just a school – we are a family, living, loving and learning together.
At the heart of our school is our Catholic faith and our belief that every child is unique, valued and loved. We want our children to feel happy and safe, to develop a love of learning and to be encouraged to achieve their very best. We have high expectations for every child while nurturing their individual gifts, talents and needs.
Inspired by the words of St Oscar Romero, “Aspire not to have more, but to be more,” we want our children to grow not only academically, but also as kind, confident and compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.
We are proud to be part of the Bosco Catholic Education Trust and, while our Catholic faith is at the heart of all we do, we warmly welcome children and families of all faiths and none.
