Term dates 2018-2019
Term Dates 2018 - 2019

Autumn Term 2018 starts on Wednesday 5th September for pupils, and ends on 1pm Friday 21st December.

Half Term : Monday 22nd - Friday 26th October.

The school will be closed for pupils on Monday 3rd September, Tuesday 4th September, Friday 21st September and Monday 3rd December (INSET Days).

The school will be closed on Friday 30th November.

Spring Term 2019 starts on Monday 7th January for pupils, and ends on Friday 5th April.

Half Term : Monday 18th - Friday 22nd February inclusive.

Summer Term 2019 starts on Tuesday 23rd April and ends on 1pm Friday 19th July.

Half Term : Monday 27th May - Friday 31st May inclusive.

The school will be closed on Monday 24th June for pupils (INSET Day).

One additional INSET day has yet to be set. This may be in any of the three terms.

Holidays in Term Time / Leave of Absence from Learning: Following the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 which made amendments to the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2006, Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. The amendment states:"Leave of absence shall not be granted unless:(a) an application has been made in advance to the proprietor by a parent with whom the child normally resides; and (b) the proprietor, or a person authorised by the proprietor in accordance with paragraph (1) considers that leave of absence should be granted due to the exceptional circumstances relating to that application."
