Welcome to St Mary's
Striving for excellence in all that we do, as we learn to live like Jesus

I am proud to be the Headteacher of St Mary's Catholic Primary School, and excited to be able to share our vision for our school.

We aim for excellence where: Everyone is loved and valued as a child of God; Spiritual development is central for all and opportunities for growth are actively encouraged; The school is at the centre of the community with strong secure links with families, the parish and the locality; All teaching is consistently good or better; There are high expectations for all; Progress is at least good for all groups of learners; There is a rich, diverse and inspiring child-led curriculum; Behaviour is good with mutual respect, and a culture of curiosity is fostered; Leadership and management is at least good.

You are more than welcome to visit and experience the school. Every day is 'open day', so please contact the school office staff if you would like to come and visit the school to see us in action.

Gemma Irvine (Mrs)
